Summer has finally arrived and here on the coast we are in the middle of a wonderful heatwave! The garden is in full bloom and looking truly magnificent. Colchester Castle has just undergone a £4.2 million refurbishment and is looking better than ever with brand new interactive displays, new finds and star exhibits. There are plenty of experiences for children – from dressing up to building a Roman archway and exploring a recreated thatched roundhouse. This makes for a fantastic family outing for all ages; everyone is sure to enjoy the new app that brings the castle to life, showing how it would have been in its glory days.
